PaRappa the Rapper - Is it worth it?

PaRappa, PaRappa, PaRappa. One of the greatest games on the Playstation. The game that invented quick time events. A game that can be so simple, yet so fun. This is why it's worth it.

Gameplay

PaRappa's gameplay is simple. Watch the buttons you have to press, then press them yourself. I like to think of it as the original Guitar Hero if someone played the song before you did to show you how to play it. It's more of a rhythm game, but it's weird how a game where you literally just press buttons can be so addictive.

Reputation

PaRappa honestly hasn't had much of a reputation. Although it has been Let's play'd by PewDiePie and mentioned in Extra Credits, it hasn't gotten very much attention. That's sad because it's a really good game and deserves to be played more.

Replay value

PaRappa doesn't have as much of replay value as a game like Borderlands, but I have picked it up again when I'm bored and play through the entire thing, so it does have some replay value in it. Especially for kids competing for a higher score, like I used to.

Is it worth it?

Yes, yes, yes. PaRappa is a game you HAVE to play if you have a Playstation or a PSP. It's so very very worth it even if you don't pick it up again after playing it.
